The Milwaukee Public Schools’ Board of School Directors established the Office of Accountability and Efficiency (OAE) in 2010 to enhance transparency, oversight, and accountability to the financial operations; to evaluate fiscal performance; and to recommend solutions in furtherance of fiscal stewardship of Milwaukee Public Schools. OAE maintains this website to present comprehensible and timely financial and performance data to the public.
